We believe a little bit of kindness goes a long ways.

The name The Kind Pine comes from a big love of the outdoors and the belief that a little bit of kindness goes a long ways. The Kind Pine offers a variety of products, including: handmade bracelets, necklaces, and home décor. We also have a sister shop Little Pines that offers a variety of baby products, including: pacifier clips, teethers, and toys.

The shop is owned and operated by me (Kayla Nored). I am a wife and mother, living with my husband and son in the small town where my husband grew up in rural Oregon, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. I am a Registered Nurse, I graduated from nursing school in 2012. I worked full-time as an RN until our son was born in 2019, when I cut back my time at the hospital and started working just two days per week at our local Emergency Department to spend more time at home with him.

I have always been a creative person, I had an Etsy shop previously where I sold wooden signs. I started finding my creative side again during the COVID-19 pandemic when my job was very stressful and I needed an outlet. In 2021, The Kind Pine was born. I wanted to sell some of the items I was making at home and have an opportunity to give back in the world.

We have donated to charities in the past, including First Responders Children’s Foundation, and look forward to working with you to donate to more worthy causes.
